Email
Recognize the signs and know how to help
Price: $60.00 USD

Congenital torticollis is a serious condition that can significantly impact an infant’s feeding and development and have long-term consequences if not identified and treated promptly. However, torticollis can be difficult to recognize, making early intervention challenging. This course will give you the skills to spot torticollis early and provide effective support for breastfeeding dyads.

Containing the latest torticollis research and taught by internationally recognized expert Catherine Watson Genna, this course is packed with Watson Genna’s own photos, videos, and illustrations to help you:

  • Identify torticollis and understand its impact on breastfeeding
  • Recognize its relationship with tongue mobility
  • Apply latch and positioning strategies to optimize feeding
  • Use supportive techniques to strengthen sucking and improve latch
  • Make evidence-based referrals and teach adjunctive techniques to empower parents

You’ll leave with a deep background knowledge of torticollis and be equipped to recognize and address it in the babies you see.
