This course discusses what's new in breastfeeding research and practice from 2020. Perfect for Baby Friendly Hospitals that wish to keep staff updated on new lactation management developments, and for lactation consultants to stay current in the latest research.
The topics covered include existing policy or protocol updates from authoritative organizations such as ABM, noteworthy research and policy updates, support of optimal neonatal health outcomes in Baby-Friendly hospitals, evidence-based protocols on hyperlactation, breast cancer and LGBTQ+ lactation care, best practices to prioritize NICU related care, and preliminary studies on human milk and Covid-19.
